•Bullet: Audition on a principal applied area (voice, keyboard, strings, woodwind, brass, or percussion) using that area's published scholarship-audition requirements
◦Sub-bullet: Voice: two memorized songs or arias in contrasting styles and tempi; a second language is required only of performance majors
◦Sub-bullet: Keyboard: two works from different periods, with at least one memorized for pianists; prepare a major scale and possible sight-reading
◦Sub-bullet: Strings: two contrasting etudes or solos, major or minor scales up to three sharps and flats, and possible sight-reading
