Audition Process
•Bullet: Complete a live audition and faculty interview; a video is accepted only for provisional consideration when a live audition is impractical.
•Bullet: Approval is based on audition, interview, and review of previous work.
•Bullet: Placement testing covers piano study, theory, and musicianship; transfer theory credit is evaluated after entrance examinations.
Current Cycle
•Bullet: The official music applying page (pba.edu/academics/schools/college-of-the-arts/performing-arts/music/applying/) and the Acceptd portal guidelines now list the 2026-27 audition season (Nov 20, 2026 – Apr 17, 2027) for Fall 2027 entry, replacing the prior 2025-26 dates; priority scholarship consideration remains before March 20.
