Training
•Bullet: The 70.6-hour BS core spans theory, music history, world music, conducting, editing and synthesis, arranging, songwriting, and primary-area performance study.
•Bullet: Small classes give conducting students experience with choral, orchestral, jazz, and other ensembles.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Students participate in a large ensemble each quarter in residence and complete a senior recital or project.
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: The no-emphasis pathway leaves room for prerequisites toward graduate study in medicine, physical therapy, law, business, communications, or dentistry.
