Audition Process
•Bullet: On-campus audition or online video submission via the student application portal
•Bullet: Students who submit video auditions may be asked to audition in person
•Bullet: Register at obu.edu/audition to schedule an on-campus audition time
•Bullet: Practice rooms available for rehearsal prior to the audition
•Bullet: Check in at the School of Performing Arts office (Mabee 107)
Audition Expectations
•Bullet: Prepared audition on your principal — voice or keyboard — for admission to the Bachelor of Music Education, Choral
•Bullet: Voice principals follow the vocal guidelines; keyboard principals follow the keyboard guidelines
•Bullet: On-campus audition or online video submission; video applicants may be asked to audition in person
•Bullet: Keyboard principals sight-read a composition selected by the faculty, suitable for your level
•Bullet: A pianist is provided for vocal on-campus auditions — bring a copy of your sheet music; you may also bring your own pianist, use tracks, or self-accompany
