•Submissions should be no more than 60 seconds
•Can be anything: a special skill, an additional form of dance, an instrument you play, etc.
•Should serve you well and add to your submission
•Use this opportunity to demonstrate another talent or passion that makes you a more interesting person and artist

SLATE VIDEO (required)
•Record one introduction video stating your name and pronouns (if desired)
•Speak loudly and clearly directly at the camera

•Two letters from a mentor, teacher, or director

DUAL ADMISSION
•Must complete both the OU university application AND the separate Acceptd prescreen
•Admission to OU does not guarantee admission to the School of Musical Theatre
•Only students also accepted academically to OU will be considered
MTCP
•Program participates in Musical Theater Common Prescreen (2025-2026 cycle)
DEADLINES
•Apply to OU by December 15 to qualify for academic/leadership scholarships
•Prescreen applications for Fall 2026 open September 1
•CAP attendees are not required to submit prescreens directly to OUMT, but those who do receive priority consideration for callbacks
CALLBACKS
•Walk-in callback auditions are not accepted
•Rolling — spots fill as the year progresses; audition sooner rather than later
What's The Process
PRESCREEN
•Submit all video audition materials through Acceptd
•The entire OUMT faculty reviews your prescreen to discern potential for success in their curriculum
•You will be notified via email through Acceptd whether you are invited for a callback
CALLBACK AUDITION
•Held at national auditions (Unifieds, CAP, Moonifieds) or at events in Atlanta, Dallas, or NYC
•On-campus and virtual callbacks are also possible
•If invited, you will receive a schedule of specific days and times to book your audition
•If you cannot attend your selected date, contact OUMT as soon as possible — alternate dates are not guaranteed
