PROGRAM RECOGNITION
•The only independent School of Musical Theatre in the nation (not just a department)
•Conservatory-style training within a flagship state university (Research I) environment
•Program capped at 50 students total with a 5-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio
•Full-time faculty of nine theatre professionals who maintain active professional careers
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•Two main stage productions per year plus a self-produced OUMT Downtown Series
•Recent productions include Into the Woods, Jesus Christ Superstar at the Myriad Gardens Water Stage in OKC, and A New Brain at OKC Civic Center's CitySpace Theatre
•Commitment to developing new musical theatre works through partnerships with producers, regional theaters, and creative artists
