Audition Process

No audition or interview is required for degree admission

Post-Enrollment

Mainstage casting auditions are open to students

Rehearsal and performance courses require a successful production audition; these are course-level requirements, not degree admission

Scholarship Info

Occ Artist Promise

$1,000 scholarship for first-year VPA students (200 awarded annually)

Paid in two installments to cover tuition, fees, and materials

Must enroll in a VPA program and maintain minimum unit requirements

Merit Scholarships

$1,000 to $15,000 awards for continuing and graduating students

Selected through OCC Scholarship application and departmental review

Applications open mid-December through late February
