What's The Process
NO AUDITION REQUIRED
•BA admission does not require an audition, interview, or portfolio
•Admission is through the university application only
SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS
•Students may audition at Open House for Theatre Merit Scholarships
•Scholarship auditions use the same format as BFA Acting auditions
•Choose Acting Only (two contrasting monologues) or Acting & Singing (one monologue + one song)
•Brief interview with faculty follows the audition

THEATRE MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
•Up to 25 awarded annually based on auditions (performers) and portfolio reviews (designers/stage managers)
•Auditions held during departmental Open Houses
•Must be a theatre major in good academic standing
NAMED SCHOLARSHIPS
•Mary Ann Mobley Collins Scholarship — for entering freshmen theatre majors, audition through Open House
•Patricia Tarr Leavitt Scholarship — for Mississippi residents pursuing BA or BFA in Theatre & Film
•Wallace Hamilton Scholarship — open to any full-time theatre student
•Susan Colbert Davis Memorial Scholarship — for Mississippi students (preferably Chickasaw or Alcorn counties) with financial need, junior year or above
•Mary Donnelly Haskell Council Scholarship — incoming freshman Fine Arts major, via Ole Miss Women's Council
