Repertoire List

Principal-instrument or voice repertoire: audition on your principal instrument or voice

Voice repertoire: two memorized works from the classical vocal repertoire (no pop, Broadway, or contemporary Christian); at least one in Italian, German, Spanish, or French

Instrumental repertoire: two contrasting works of an appropriately advanced difficulty level, ideally from two different historical eras, performed from memory (strings may also use alternative or non-classical repertoire)

What's The Process

Audition Process

Step 1: Apply to OSU

Step 2: Complete the Greenwood School of Music Audition Request Form

Step 3: You will receive a phone call/text to schedule your audition date and time

Auditions are 10-20 minutes long

Choose to audition in-person on campus or by video submission

Video Submission

Upload to YouTube as unlisted — email the link to GSMAuditions@okstate.edu

Capture a clear, full-body frame with close-up shots of embouchure, hands, and face as relevant

Perform in a quiet, private space without a live audience

State your name, hometown, why you are interested in music, and the pieces you will perform

At the Audition

Each applicant will be asked to sight-read

An accompanist is provided where applicable — bring a clean copy of your music

Bring your own instrument

Scholarship Info

Music department scholarships and non-resident tuition waivers awarded based on audition quality. Complete audition by February 28 for priority scholarship consideration.
