•Performs in the Wind Bands, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Ensembles; alumni brass players have gone on to the U.S. Marine Band, the U.S. Army Band, and the Atlantic Brass Quintet
•Live audition repertoire is two contrasting solos or etudes — one fast/technical, one slow/lyrical — plus sight-reading, shared across trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba
Professional Development
•OCU instrumental alumni have won positions with ensembles including the U.S. Marine Band "President's Own," the U.S. Army Band's "Pershing's Own," the Dallas Winds, the Count Basie Orchestra, and the New York City Ballet Orchestra
•Additional alumni placements include the Utah Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Kansas City Symphony, and the New World Symphony
