Training
•Bullet: 10 levels of instruction in tap, jazz, and ballet; students rotate through 4-5 different teachers per technique each semester to build adaptability across styles and choreographers
•Bullet: Curriculum centers on tap, jazz, theatre dance, and ballet as used in musical theatre and commercial dance, plus vocal and acting training so dance performance majors develop as triple-threat performers
•Bullet: Coursework includes Choreography, Dance History, Musicals for Dancers, Anatomy & Physiology, Dance Health, Pedagogy (tap/jazz/ballet), Contract Law for Performers, Management for Performers, and Career Preparation
•Bullet: Students enter as dance majors and complete a shared two-year foundation curriculum before being placed into the Dance Performance track for junior and senior year based on their interests and faculty evaluation of their skills
