In-person auditions are followed by a faculty interview

Fall 2027 scholarship audition dates are open: Nov 14, 2026; Jan 23, Feb 15, Feb 21, and Feb 28, 2027

Instrumental Repertoire

Prepare the published repertoire for the principal instrument

Brass and woodwind applicants prepare a state-list solo or established-method etude

Keyboard, percussion, strings, and guitar applicants follow the detailed instrument-specific repertoire, scale, and sight-reading guidance

Scholarship Info

Music Scholarship

Up to $7,500 per year for music majors

Up to $1,500 for performance minors

Renewed annually for up to four years

Renewal Requirements

Maintain a major or performance minor in music

Minimum GPA in music courses of 2.75 at end of first year, 3.00 in succeeding years
