TRAINING
•Core curriculum: contemporary, African, ballet, choreography, kinesiology, production, and creative technologies

MOVEMENT AUDITION
•Contemporary, African, and ballet movement phrases taught by faculty
•Evaluates basic skills, coordination, musicality, and responsiveness to coaching
•Creative prompt (solo) — instructions provided after audition application submitted
ATTIRE
•Comfortable clothing with clear, simple lines
•Bright colored leotard or top recommended
•Bare feet and ballet shoes — no pointe shoes

•Record yourself performing phrases and creative prompt at home

What's The Process
AUDITION FORMAT
•No prescreen — all applicants audition at scheduled events
•In-person strongly recommended; online option available as accommodation
•Three components: movement audition, creative prompt (solo), and faculty interview
IN-PERSON AUDITION
•Visit day (Friday) strongly recommended — faculty panel, open class, campus tour, scholarship workshop
•Audition day (Saturday) required — solo showings, interview prompts, movement audition
•Results emailed within two weeks after each audition date
ONLINE AUDITION
•Movement phrases and creative prompt instructions sent after application submitted
•Record and upload videos via SlideRoom portal
•Results emailed by February 20
