PORTFOLIO (required)
•Electronic or hard copy format
•Show previous theatrical and artistic projects in a detailed and organized manner
•Photographs, models, and artwork are acceptable
•Include examples of your creative process

APPLICATION PROCESS
•Apply and be accepted to Oakland University first
•Complete university application at least two weeks before audition date
•Register for a portfolio presentation via the SMTD registration form
•No application fee — Oakland University is a fee-free institution

•Transfer students follow the same two-step process and provide unofficial transcripts

PORTFOLIO PRESENTATION
•Present portfolio of work to faculty
•Opportunity to explain interests, previous work, and career goals
•Be prepared to discuss a favorite theatrical production or script
•Dress in a professional manner ("office casual" is appropriate)
VIDEO SUBMISSIONS
•Submit a link to your portfolio for review
•Select "Video" as preferred audition date on registration form
•Provide portfolio link when prompted for video links
•Virtual interview scheduled after faculty review
