•BA Music is Oakland's liberal-arts music degree — 124 total credit hours pairing applied study with a broader academic curriculum than the professional-track Bachelor of Music.
•Elective seminars include The Nineteenth-Century Symphony: History, Performance and Analysis, Berlin's Musical Cultures: 1900–1989, and Seminar in Opera and Drama, alongside required Musical Analysis and Form and Counterpoint coursework.
