Requirements
•Three Contrasting Songs (Undergraduate)
•One from each timespan: pre-1965, 1965-1990, 1990-current
•Music theatre repertoire only — avoid rock, pop, country, jazz
•Memorized, no more than 4 minutes each
•Cuts of 32 bars or more welcome
•Demonstrate head-voice proficiency with legato lines
Preparation
•Select most comfortable song to sing first; committee will request others
•Pianist provided — bring sheet music in binder, double-sided, correct key, cuts marked
Transfer Repertoire (4 Songs)
•Four contrasting songs performed from memory
•Three from music theatre repertoire, one classical piece
•Each selection no longer than 4 minutes
