No Audition Required

Admission is through the university application only

No performance audition or prescreen is required for program admission

Scholarship Audition

Theatre Production Scholarship audition available (see Scholarships section)

Performance option: prepare a 30-90 second monologue

Technical/design option: bring renderings, photographs, or a prompt book

Playwriting option: bring a brief sample of your work

Recommended to audition by March 15 for best scholarship availability

In-person audition strongly recommended; Zoom and video options available

Theatre Production Scholarship

Available to any student involved in theatre productions (major not required)

Awarded based on application, recommendation, and audition or interview

Renewable, evaluated on a yearly basis

Approximately 70 current recipients; seeking 20 new candidates per year

Additional Scholarships

Privately funded scholarships for theatre majors selected by faculty and financial aid

No additional application required for these awards
