Training
•The Speech and Theatre Education minor is a fully certified pathway permitting students to teach grades 9-12
•Students take the same foundation courses as theatre majors while combining speech, theatre and education study
Performance & Productions
•Minor students participate in Northwest's Freshman/Transfer Showcase during their first year
•Training supports classroom teaching, play direction, forensics and debate coaching
Facilities
•Students work in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts and can engage with mainstage, one-act and student-directed productions
