The program certifies graduates to teach speech and theatre in grades 9-12

Program Requirements

Complete theatre advanced standing at the end of semester three

Apply for admission to the Teacher Education Program and complete the published education milestones

Audition Process

No audition is required for program admission

Incoming first-year and transfer students in speech/theatre education may schedule an optional theatre scholarship audition

Perform two contrasting monologues totaling up to three minutes or present a technical/design portfolio

The appointment includes a conversation about theatre interests and goals
