Monologues
TWO CONTRASTING MONOLOGUES (OPTIONAL), 3 min total
•Two contrasting monologues OR one monologue from a contemporary play
•Combined length no longer than 3 minutes
•Memorized preferred

•Include theatre experience and training
PERSONAL STATEMENT (recommended)
•500-word limit
•Part of the CAMD portfolio submission

What's The Process
AUDITION (OPTIONAL — NOT REQUIRED)
•Auditions are encouraged but not required for admission
•Auditioning can enhance your admissions profile and increase merit-based financial aid
•Not a conservatory — admission is not exclusively talent-based
FORMAT
•In-person on campus (448 Ryder Hall) or virtual via Zoom
•Each audition slot is 12 minutes
•Q&A session follows

•If unable to attend auditions, submit a portfolio via SlideRoom through your Application Status Check
•Portfolio submission counts the same as an in-person or virtual audition

CAMD CREATIVE LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP
•All portfolio submitters are automatically considered
•Limited number of full-tuition scholarships available
•$10,000 and $15,000 annual renewable awards for academic and creative excellence
DEANS HONORS FELLOWS
•Selected students receive special opportunities to hone creative potential
•Additional stipend for experiential activities including research, global experiences, and creative projects
