Audition Expectations
•Bullet: Auditions serve as both admission to the music major and scholarship evaluation
•Bullet: Held in the Center for the Performing Arts on the Tahlequah campus
•Bullet: In-person on designated dates, or by appointment
•Bullet: Virtual and prerecorded video auditions can also be arranged
•Bullet: Schedule a private meeting or lesson with the NSU faculty member who teaches your instrument or voice before auditioning
Post-Enrollment
•Bullet: A short ear training and music theory placement test is administered after the audition
•Bullet: Used for course placement purposes and establishing benchmarks
