Audition Expectations
•Auditions serve as both admission to music major and scholarship evaluation
•Held in the Center for the Performing Arts on the Tahlequah campus
•In-person on designated dates, or by appointment
•Virtual and prerecorded video auditions can also be arranged
•Schedule a private meeting or lesson with NSU music faculty prior to auditioning
•Gives you a chance to experience the teaching style and get audition advice
Post-Enrollment
•Music theory and ear training placement test administered after the audition
•Used for course placement purposes and establishing benchmarks
