Audition Process
•Bullet: After applying to North Park, receive your acceptance to North Park, then schedule an audition
•Bullet: Once you complete the audition, you will be notified if you have been accepted into the music program
•Bullet: Auditionees will also be considered for a music talent scholarship
•Bullet: The academic catalog says the evaluation will consist of a theory placement exam and keyboard placement (if applicable), sight reading, and an audition
•Bullet: On-campus auditions and electronic submissions are accepted
•Bullet: Electronic submissions: Please submit your video recordings and resume. YouTube links are preferred.

Audition Expectations
•Bullet: Voice applicants follow the song guidance
•Bullet: Strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, guitar, and keyboard applicants: Play a piece of your choice that reflects your current musical skills. A second contrasting piece is encouraged but not required.
•Bullet: Percussion applicants: Play a piece of your choice that reflects your current musical skills. A second piece on a different percussion instrument is encouraged but not required.
•Bullet: Keyboard applicants may audition on Piano, Organ, or B3
Post-Enrollment
•Bullet: Following at least one year of music study, prospective music majors must successfully complete a Sophomore Conference for acceptance into their music major of choice
