Training
•The Brass concentration gives the liberal-arts music degree a defined applied focus for brass study while preserving the program’s primary-and-secondary instrument structure.
•NGU’s published sequence combines primary and secondary applied lessons with Music Theory, Music Appreciation, computer technology for musicians, and large-ensemble participation.
•The scholarship page identifies brass applicants within its woodwind/brass/string pathway and asks for contrasting standard-literature selections plus scales or technical etudes suited to the instrument.
Performance & Productions
•Students can use the Cline School of Music’s more than 40 annual performances, recitals, and ensembles to develop musicianship in a Christ-centered setting.
