What's The Process

Audition Process

•College admission is open; no audition or interview is required for initial admission to the Commercial Music AS

•Music majors contact the Music Department during advising and registration to schedule an Applied Music audition on their principal instrument or voice

Post-Enrollment

•Applied Music study and Performance Class are required in the curriculum

•Continued Applied Music study requires faculty evaluation and permits

•Piano proficiency and theory/ear-training assessments are course-placement or degree-proficiency requirements, not college-admission auditions
