Scholarship Audition Requirements

These requirements are from the Fall 2026 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

Optional audition for scholarship consideration only; it is not required for program admission.

Repertoire List

•Prepare two contrasting pieces appropriate to the primary instrument

•Brass and woodwind applicants prepare the published chromatic-scale requirement

•Guitar applicants prepare major, minor, and pentatonic scales in two neck positions

•Percussion applicants prepare keyboard scales, a snare solo with rudiments, and three contrasting drum-set styles

•String applicants prepare scales covering at least two octaves

Teacher Education Program
