•Eight hours of theory and musicianship plus four hours of music history/culture
•Four semesters of applied study in one instrument and four semesters in a major large ensemble
•Attend approved recitals across four semesters
Performance
•Applied lessons and ensemble participation provide sustained practical training
•Music minors can participate in NWU’s choirs, bands, orchestra, jazz, chamber, opera, and contemporary ensembles
