TWO OR MORE CONTRASTING PIECES
•Select from: comedy, drama, tragedy, and song and dance
•Total audition must be 10 minutes in length
•Minimum passing average of 80%

REQUIRED MATERIALS
•Headshot and resume recommended for audition
•Official high school transcript (sent via postal mail or electronic service)

APPLICATION PROCESS
•Apply via Common App or NC A&T's online application portal
•$60 non-refundable application fee (waivers accepted: College Board, ACT, NACAC)
•Test optional for students with weighted GPA of 2.8 or above
•No personal essay or recommendation letters required
What's The Process
AUDITION FORMAT
•10-minute in-person acting audition and interview
•Minimum passing average of 80% required
AFTER ADMISSION
•Qualifying audition held in 2nd or 3rd semester to continue in the BFA program
•Annual faculty evaluation during jury hearings
•All Acting students must audition for all main stage productions and the Richard B. Harrison Players
