Dance Call

•Master class taught by Nazareth dance faculty (ballet barre and center, across-the-floor modern combination)

•Prepared two-minute solo in the style of your choice

Attire

•Appropriate body-conforming dance wear required

•Ballet shoes and leggings or convertible tights for bare-foot Modern

What to Bring

•Dance shoes appropriate for your solo

•Music (phone app — they have an adapter for the sound system)

•Water bottle

•Auditions held from fall to spring — all dates close two weeks prior, register early

•In-person auditions available, with virtual option

Audition Expectations

•Master class and prepared solo reviewed by faculty

•Nazareth accepts students directly to programs

•Applicants applying to another major and auditioning for Dance may receive notification earlier

Scholarship Info

•Performing arts scholarships up to $5,000 based on dance audition quality

•Available for both dance majors and minors

•If selected, scholarship appears on financial aid award letter
