One hymn, spiritual, jazz, popular, or musical theatre piece

You may perform two classical songs if preferred

Instrumental audition: prepare Concert Bb, Eb, and F major scales

Prepare a two-octave chromatic scale

Prepare one fast technical selection and one slow lyrical selection

Audition Expectations

Optional choir auditions are available for scholarship consideration and ensemble placement

Optional band auditions are scheduled throughout the semester for Wind Ensembles, Sound of Navarro, Jazz, Choir, and Color Guard

Vocal auditions are evaluated on vocal range and timbre, musical memory, and sight-singing of a short excerpt
