Training
•Four semesters of theory, four semesters of applied lessons, and four semesters of ensemble
•Includes composition, performance, and music education pathways
•Develops proficiency in performance, analysis, dictation, sight singing, and keyboard skills
Facilities
•Students perform in the Mt. SAC Performing Arts Complex, including the 415-seat Sophia B. Clarke Theatre and the 273-seat Music Recital Hall
Degree Flexibility
•Past students have transferred to Azusa Pacific, CSUF, CSULB, CSUN, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSB, USC, and others
•Built for CSU transfer via the Cal-GETC pattern (60 transferable units)
