Audition Process
•Apply and be admitted to MSMU before starting the Music Department application
•FAFSA must be on file at the Office of Admission's Financial Aid Office
•Complete the Music Department Application Form with audition video
•Letter of recommendation must be received before interview is scheduled
•Online interview with department personnel
•Theory placement exam administered after acceptance into Music Department
Video Audition
•Upload audition video to YouTube as Unlisted
•Include full name and instrument/voice in the video title
•State your name, instrument/voice, emphasis, and the composer and title of each piece at the beginning of the video
•Video must be unedited with each selection performed in one take
•Submit one video with all audition material
