•Joint program between Morehouse College and Spelman College through the Atlanta University Center consortium

•Core technique areas include contemporary modern, ballet, jazz, African dance, hip-hop, and improvisation

•Students create original choreographic work through solo and group capstone projects

•Spelman Dance Theatre — department performance company featuring original works by faculty and graduating seniors
•Students may also create and present their own original works mentored by faculty
•Dance Artist Incubation Residency brings visiting artists who push boundaries in creative practice
