•Heard on guitar, electric bass, saxophone and other jazz instruments — contact the jazz faculty to confirm repertoire
Scales & Technique
•Major scales and modes, minor scales, and chromatic scales
•Improvisation demonstration (e.g., over a 12-bar blues)
•Sight-reading of single-note lines (standard notation) and chord charts
