Training
•BM Performance instrumental track: weekly major lesson, end-of-term jury, and Tuesday-morning Performance Class each term
•Required participation in a large ensemble plus optional secondary lessons and ensembles
•Half junior recital (MUS 375.2) and full senior recital (MUS 375) required
•33-unit degree (23 units of music) covering theory, history, and conducting
Performance & Productions
•Play in the Moravian University Orchestra, conducted by Theodore Kuchar (required for string majors), or the Wind Ensemble under Dr. JoAnn Wieszczyk
•Focused chamber groups including Brass, Clarinet Choir, Flute, Guitar, Percussion, String Quintet, and Trombone ensembles
•Great Artists Series has brought Yo-Yo Ma and other guest artists to campus
