•Bullet: Eight units of technique come from Modern Dance, Jazz Dance, and Ballet (levels I-IV); Ballroom Dance and Ethnic Dance Forms count as approved electives

•Bullet: Dance Appreciation and World Cultural Dance courses expand artistic perspective
•Bullet: Introduction to Choreography, an approved elective, has students create original choreography for public performance
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: The Dance Department presents an evening of original and creative dance works each semester, with ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern dance, and more
•Bullet: The 2-unit production requirement is met with Dance Production I-IV or Dance Repertory, where students stage solo and group choreography or rehearse and perform complete dance pieces
•Bullet: The Dance Show is staged on the Morgan Stock Stage in Building 29
