Audition Process
•Email Prof. John Nyerges to begin assessment and placement for the correct classes
•Live auditions are held most Mondays during the academic year, September-December and February-May, from 4:00-5:30 PM
•Video auditions accepted year-round; after Memorial Day, only video auditions accepted
Instrument-Specific Requirements
•Percussion applicants should prepare one snare drum exercise and at least two drum-set grooves: swing, funk, shuffle, or Latin
•Marimba players should include a short marimba piece when applicable
•Guitar applicants should play acoustic or undistorted electric guitar
