LIVE/VIRTUAL AUDITION:
•One contemporary (1945-present) monologue from published full-length play or film script
•Maximum 2 minutes
•Cannot be from a musical
DIGITAL SUBMISSION:
•TWO contrasting contemporary (1945-present) monologues
•Same requirements as above

•Then access Theatre Audition form in MMC Admissions Portal
•Audition scheduling opens October 1, 2025
IMPORTANT NOTES
•You will not receive a theatre decision until admitted to the college academically
•If you audition for MT, you are automatically considered for Acting too
•Digital submissions accepted January 5 through March 15, 2026 — no late submissions

AUDITION OPTIONS
•On-Campus: live audition at MMC campus in NYC — must attend full day (no leaving early)
•Virtual: live via Acceptd/Zoom — $30 registration fee
•Digital Submission: pre-recorded materials uploaded through MMC portal (Jan 5 – Mar 15)
IMPORTANT
•MMC does NOT participate in Unifieds
•All audition options afford equal opportunity for admission
•All final decisions by April 15
Scholarship Info
VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
•All applicants automatically considered at audition
•Renewable for three years with 3.0 GPA and continued Theatre major
•Awarded based on talent and academic record
•Can be stacked with Academic Merit Scholarship
•Recipients informed in Theatre Arts admissions letter
