Audition Process
•Materials reviewed by faculty on rolling basis
•Not all applicants will be asked to audition — this is not a rejection
•Live prescreen events available — do not register on Acceptd until notified of results
•If attending a live prescreen event, do NOT register on Acceptd until notified of prescreen results
•Upon passing, complete Acceptd registration and receive decision within two weeks
Audition Expectations
•If you pass prescreen, you will be invited to a live audition (in-person or virtual)
•Each audition includes a friendly conversation with faculty
•Be prepared to receive and apply adjustments during your session
•Dress in clothing that reflects your authentic self — no hats please
•Zoom: Vocal assessment based on prescreen videos — live audition is monologue only
•Chicago Unifieds: Must provide own recorded accompaniment and speaker
•MSU campus: Accompanist provided — bring sheet music in correct key
•Other Unifieds: Follow sponsoring organization guidelines
