Audition Format
•Brass, strings, and woodwinds: prepare two contrasting etudes plus the chromatic scale (full range) and major scales from memory
•Percussion: prepare a short etude on snare drum, timpani, and a mallet instrument
•Bring a resume
•Auditions are scheduled individually with the music faculty
Attire
•More formal attire recommended
•Dress pants, skirts, blouses, button-downs, polos
•No sweatpants, flip-flops, or polarizing graphics
Video Auditions
•If unable to attend in person, request to submit a video audition per the Music Information Packet
