•The 59-credit Theatre Arts BA is the department’s generalist degree, combining performance, production, directing, dramatic analysis, theatre history, and global performance study
•Students choose acting foundations and advanced performance work alongside a theatre-technology area such as stagecraft, costume construction, lighting, or sound
•Eight world-language credits complement Theatre of Diversity and Perspectives in World Performance, giving the liberal-arts degree an explicit intercultural dimension
Performance & Productions
•Five theatre-activity credits must cover at least three areas, with choices in acting, management, dance captain, stagecraft, costume, lighting, and sound
Professional Development
•Students choose Careers in Theatre or Portfolio Seminar and can shape electives toward performance, design/technology, directing, dramaturgy, or dance
Degree Flexibility
•A published Minnesota State Theatre Transfer Pathway provides a designated junior- and senior-year sequence for eligible community-college transfers
