•Focused on theatre experience, employment history, and related skills that serve your work as a designer and/or technician

Portfolio

•Should highlight your strengths as a designer and/or technician

•Photographs of past productions (completed projects as well as process shots)

•Design or paperwork from productions (renderings, hang sheets, etc.)

•3-D examples of work (model of set, costume, or small prop — reasonable size)

•Examples of your work in any medium that demonstrates your skills and interests

•Work that shows your creative process, not just finished products

•Upon acceptance by the Millikin Office of Admission, you will be contacted to schedule

•Interview allows faculty to get to know you and your interests

•Portfolio review consists of discussion about your submitted materials and creative process

•You will discuss why you wish to pursue this discipline

Post-Enrollment

•The admission interview/portfolio review is separate from Millikin's BFA continuation review

•Students must pass a second audition/interview at the end of freshman year to continue in a BFA program

Scholarship Info

College of Fine Arts Scholarship

•All students accepted to a BFA program receive a CFA Scholarship

•Range: $1,000 - $5,000 annually

•Renewable each year while enrolled in the College of Fine Arts

•Stacks with Academic Merit Scholarship awarded upon admission

•No additional application required — awarded after interview/portfolio review
