Training
•Bullet: The Musical Theatre Minor requires 19.5-23.5 credit hours: three semesters of MUSC 100 Applied Voice (1.5 hrs), MUSC 125 Keyboard Fundamentals or MUSC 143 Basic Music Theory/Ear Training (2-3 hrs), three semesters of MUSC 254 Musical Theatre Production (3 hrs), MUSC 270 Musical Theatre Workshop I (2 hrs), and MUSC 369 Musical Theatre History and Repertoire (3 hrs)
•Bullet: Dance and acting foundations come from DANC 111 Jazz Dance I, DANC 113 Ballet I, and THEA 242 Acting 1, plus two electives chosen from MUSC 271 Musical Theatre Workshop II, DANC 112 Tap Dance I, or THEA 221 Stage Management
•Bullet: 75% concert and recital attendance is required across four semesters, and minors take a jury each semester in their principal applied area
