Audition Process
•Scholarship and ensemble-participation auditions are scheduled through the Music Scholarship Application Form
•Published 2026-2027 auditions are in person on MNU's Olathe campus; applicants unable to attend should contact performingarts@mnu.edu
Audition Expectations
•Demonstrate fundamental musical knowledge through diagnostic exercises, including sight-reading
•Applicants who are not primarily pianists demonstrate any piano proficiency
•Applicants who are not primarily vocalists sing one song of their choice
•Faculty prefer live accompaniment when possible; an MNU accompanist is available for a $10 fee payable at the audition
