Students are encouraged to meet with the advisor in advance of the year they plan to begin the major

Eligibility

12-15 credits must be taken at a community college within the MinnState system

Transfer Pathway available for students starting at MinnState community colleges

Enrollment

First-year application deadlines are August 1 for Fall final, October 1 for Spring priority, and March 1 for Summer priority

Transfer Pathway

Metro State publishes a Theater BA transfer pathway for Minnesota State college students who complete the corresponding 60-credit associate degree, then finish the final 60 credits at Metro State. The pathway includes a Theater BA sample plan and partner community colleges.
