Application Portal

•Complete the D'Angelo Department of Music Audition Application (separate from the university application)

•University application must be submitted first using the free online application

Placement

•Admitted students take a music theory placement test at the audition — for course placement only, not admission

Certification

•Candidates must meet all Education Department standards, policies, and admission/retention criteria for PA Department of Education K-12 certification

•Keyboard proficiency required for the degree

Eligibility

•Fall and Spring enrollment available

•FAFSA (school code 003297) required for need-based financial aid

Transfer Pathway

Transfer applicants to the Brass track may bring up to 60 credits from a two-year college or 90 from a four-year institution; the department chair reviews compatible major coursework, and the music audition or portfolio review remains required.
