•Two contrasting pieces, performed from memory

•Selections should be taken from the standard classical, traditional, sacred, or Broadway styles

Audition Process

•Apply to Mercer University through Admissions before scheduling audition

•On-campus auditions required for students within 300 miles of Macon, GA

•Digital audition may be submitted if distance makes live attendance difficult

•Contact the Music Office (music@mercer.edu) to schedule outside posted dates

Audition Expectations

•Approximately 20 minutes in length

•Heard by the voice area music faculty

•Auditionee will be asked to sight-sing

•Short interview with voice faculty after performing

Music Scholarships

•All students who audition are considered for scholarships

•Scholarship recipients notified within 2-3 weeks of audition date

•Must be accepted to Mercer University before a scholarship can be offered

•Fabian Scholarship applicants must audition by March 1
