Audition Requirements
Songs
TWO CONTRASTING SELECTIONS, each 60-90 sec
•ONE MUSICAL THEATER SONG from any time period
•ONE CONTRASTING SELECTION — classical piece or second musical theater song in a contrasting style
•Must sing to musical accompaniment — no a cappella
Monologues
ONE MEMORIZED MONOLOGUE, 1-2 min
•From a published play, screenplay, or teleplay
•Should be appropriate for your age and ability
Dance
DANCE CALL
•You will be taught a short dance routine during the audition
ATTIRE
•Please bring attire that allows freedom of movement

AUDITION FORMAT
•Three-part audition: singing, acting, and dance
•Must demonstrate potential in all three areas
•Meet with the theatre program director for a short interview
