Repertoire List (Scholarship)
•Piano: a Bach Two- or Three-Part Invention or a Prelude and Fugue from The Well-Tempered Clavier; one movement of a Haydn, Mozart, or Beethoven sonata; and one Romantic or Contemporary selection, with at least one work from memory
•Organ: a Bach prelude and fugue or chorale prelude; one work from 17th- or 18th-century literature; and one work from 19th- or 20th-century literature
•Strings: an etude, one sonata or concerto movement, and one Romantic or Contemporary selection at the published difficulty levels
•Winds and percussion: two contrasting works or movements plus an advanced-method etude; percussionists prepare etudes on two of snare drum, timpani, or xylophone
•Guitar: three selections in contrasting styles and tempos, preferably including one classical selection
Accompaniment (Scholarship)
•Request a Maryville accompanist at least two weeks before the audition and provide copies of the music; this service is not available for online auditions
