•3-5 fully produced plays and musicals per season
•Home to the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre (SART), a professional company founded in 1975 on the MHU campus
•Additional showcases, cabarets, devised works, and outreach performances
Professional Development
•Guest artists from Broadway, regional theatre, and international performance regularly work with students
•Training includes theatrical intimacy direction, stage combat, Shakespeare performance, and production management
